Charlotte Pfau started her PhD at the Centre for Innovation Competence SiLi-nano® in August 2009.
She studied physics at the University of Leipzig.
At the Research centre of Dresden-Rossendorf where she was working during and after studies Charlotte Pfau did her diploma thesis on the topic "Intersubband relaxation and dephasing in narrow InGaAs/AlAsSb quantum well structures".
Currently her main field of research is the analysis of the phononic, optical and structural properties of fluorescent nanoparticles in glasses and glass ceramics.
