Dr. Alexander A. Tonkikh is working at the Centre for Innovation Competence SiLi-nano® since August 2013. He has received BS (2000) and MS (2002) degrees from the Electro-Technical State University St.-Petersburg, Russia. His doctoral degree has been obtained in 2005 in the field of semiconductor physics from the Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute St.-Petersburg, Russia. Before joining Sili-nano®, Dr. Tonkikh was employed for 4.5 years at the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics in Halle. His major scientific interests are physics of semiconductor nanostructures and epitaxy of semiconductor materials.
