Silicon to Light
Neha Sardana is a joint PHD student at the Max Planck Institute for microstucture physics (IMPRS) and the Center for Innovation Competence SiLi-nano (ZIK) since April 2011.
She received her B.Tech degree in the field of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India, 2005-09. After that she received her Master of Engineering degree in Materials & Manufacturing engineering at the Technical University of Denmark, 2009-10. Besides her studies, Neha Sardana worked as teaching assistant for the courses in Materials Science and TEMO at DTU 2010.
Currently her main field of research is the Plasmonic Metamaterials.
