... is the title of the 13nth holiday course hosted by the Institute for Physics at the Martin-Luther-University of Halle-Wittenberg from October 17 to 19, 2011. Pupils of grades 9 to 12 from Saxony-Anhalt are cordially invited to join. The attending Pupils will explore, what light is. Is it a beam, a wave, a particle - or somehow all of the above? How can we use it? Talks, discussions, physical models and several optical experiments in the laboratory of the Institute of Physics will help the students find out all about the phenomena of light in everyday life, nature and engineering.
